Timelines coming to Facebook for iPad in late January

Facebook for iPad coming late January with Timeline feature

9to5 Mac has word that Facebook for iPad will be getting the new Timeline feature in late January.

Timeline was supposed to come to the iPad in December, but the release has been pushed back due to last minute bugs found during advanced testing. Facebook is now planning to launch the update between mid-January and late January.

Facebook recently updated their iPhone app to include the new Timeline profile layout, but the iPad app was noticeably lacking in that respect.

Timeline, the new version of Facebook profiles that aims to show your life as a story, is said to work very well on the iPad's larger, multi-touch screen. Itwill be a "fusion of the web and iPhone/iPod touch version". I'm personally looking forward to this, and it couldn't come any quicker.
