Facebook for iPhone and iPad update fixes comments bug
Facebook has released an update for their iPhone and iPad app that fixes the bug that caused the wrong comments to show on some photos.
Fixes an issue that caused incorrect comments to be displayed for certain photos
This was by far the most annoying Facebook bug and it pleases me to see it fixed. Surprisingly, the fix seems to have worked! Is it working for you? What bug would you like to see fixed next?

I'm glad to see they are working on it, but there are too many other comment related bugs for me to use it yet. Still using iCabMobile... though the comments are sometimes flaky there too... but so are they in Safari on OSX. Methinks Facebook is just a bit flaky in general. :(
No it doesnt for me... fail!
there also a huge cache problem in this app: if I look in the usage menu under settigs, my facebook has over 400mb of data while it shows me tha the actual size of the app its only 10mb! they should limit it somehow, come on! I know I can delete the app everytime but its still damn annoing...
Fix the search bug.
The ap failed to update for me. It reaches like 3/4 and then it said it couldn't download at this time try again later. I got that message 5 times. This pos is so crappy
Nope still didn't fix the problem for me and it's a really annoying bug too.
Fixing the inability to use the split keyboard on iPad in iOS 5 should be a priority update.

still full of crap am still having the problem when ever i delete msg from the app when ever i go on again the message come back again

Works fine for me. Now Facebook needs to make post say "via iPhone" and not "via mobile"
The fix worked for me. And unlike everyone else in here, my wife and I (both iPhone 4) really like the new layout of the app.
What about a fix for when you slide your finger down and it stays saying 'updating' for like 10 minutes straight, whether on wifi or 2g

I dont doubt the update fixed placing the wrong comments on the rong picture but.... hell I cant even put a comment on a picture using the Facebook for IPAD (IPAD 2 in my case) app.Now if they can just fix my dilemna. The problem appears to be that a button (OK or SEND) doesnt show up under the area where you type the comment or chat. Fix this and we'll be cooking with butter.
Caused the updates to not work now ... Hangs and you have to switch to another option and come back for the update
This was one big pain in the arse bug, but there are numerous more. At least this one is gone.
