iPhone 4 is the most significant hardware revision to Apple's widescreen iPod, breakthrough internet communicator, and phone since the original iPhone 2G was released in 2007. Skype bringing video chat to iPhone 4?

After Apple's announcement of FaceTime during the WWDC 2010 keynote, we knew it was only a matter of time before talk of Skype video chat would arise. Just two days later, an insider at Skype has told Pocket-Lint that they "would welcome the opportunity to work with Apple" when it comes to bringing Skype video calling to the new iPhone 4 scheduled to release on June 24.

Apple introduces FaceTime video calling -- iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 [updated with video]

Steve Jobs brought back a doozy of a "One more thing..." for his WWDC 2010 keynote today -- the awkwardly named but awesome-looking FaceTime video calling for iPhone 4.

Apple says it requires zero setup, works landscape or portrait, front or back camera, and supports h.264, AAC, SIP, STUN. It's Wi-Fi only in 2010 but they're working with carriers to support it over 3G in the future.
