Fantastical 2 for Mac gets Touch Bar support and I love it!

Over the holiday weekend, Flexibits updated Fantastical 2 for Mac with a few major improvements, including event invite contact detection, some gesture updates, and my favorite: Touch Bar support. Now, you can easily access the important tools you need to schedule your life. It's all right at your fingertips.

The default Touch Bar controls include the My Calendar Set tool, quick return to Today, and a slider so you can scroll through the months.

You can customize the Touch Bar by selecting View from the app's menu; it's the last option on the list. Remember: If you've hidden Fantastical 2 in the Dock (which I do), you'll have to temporarily unhide it to access the app menu.

Custom tools include the Sidebar view (new in Fantastical 2.3), Time Zone override, and New Event quick add.

I've got my Touch Bar set up with the Sidebar view, Today quick return, the monthly scroll bar, and New Event quick add. When I want to add a new event, I simply tap the add button (+) and start typing. If I'm looking ahead to future months, I can quickly jump back to today with just a tap. I love it.

Fantastical 2 for Mac is the best calendar app for the Mac, and if you haven't tried it yet, you should. You can download a free trial version from Flexibits directly, which lasts 21 days, or you can download the full version now in the Mac App Store. It's worth it; believe me.
