G'day Mate: iPhone Coming to the Land Down Under

Alright, you Aussies. Drop your didgeridoos and Kangaroos and get down from your gum trees, because iPhone is coming to your bush. What's that you ask? Is Kent a few Kangaroos loose in the top paddock? Nope, and I haven't been smoking any strange Aboriginal tobacco either.

T-Mobile says it will begin rolling out iPhones to customers sometime in the first half of this year, give or take. Abso-bloody-lutely they will, so start saving your zacks now. Now stop questioning my sanity unless you want to start a barney. Got it? Ta!

OMG. The world must be coming to an end. Kent had 3 updates in one day! Congrats! :D

Joshua Gans says:

That's "Austria" not Australia! Read the news report.

Kent Pribbernow says:

No, it's Austrailia. I simply attached the wrong source link.

Joshua Gans says:

I can't believe we are arguing about this. Look:
BARCELONA, Feb 12 (Reuters) - Deutsche Telekom's (DTEGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research) mobile unit T-Mobile will begin selling Apple's APPL.O iPhone in Austria in the first half of the year, T-Mobile Chief Executive Hamid Akhavan said on Tuesday.
T-Mobile already sells the multi-media device in Germany.
Akhavan also said T-Mobile would launch the first Google (GOOG.O: Quote, Profile, Research) Android phone in the fourth quarter of the year. (Reporting by Nicola Leske)
That is what is currently on your link. There is no T-mobile in Australia.

That story is correct, but I linked to it by mistake. The story I had intended to link is still floating around my feeds somewhere - I have over two hundred fees in my NewsGator account.

Dan says:

mate,
T-mobile does not operate in Australia.

JetStream says:

Hope you're right - keep holding off from importing one from US. But only just!
