How to share a video to Facebook from Finder in OS X Mavericks

OS X Mavericks makes your Mac a lot more social. Along with the ability to link up and post from your social accounts, you can easily share video to Facebook from anywhere on your Mac in just a few clicks. Here's how:

  1. Launch a Finder windowon your Mac running OS X Mavericks and navigate to the video that you'd like to upload to Facebook.
  2. Click on the video one time in order to highlight it.
  3. Now click on the Share button in the Finder menu and click on Facebook.
  4. In the Share Sheet that comes up, type in a description of the video and then click Post.

That's all there is to it. Your video will start uploading to Facebook. Remember that you must be signed into Facebook through Mavericks in order for this to work, so if you don't see a Facebook option or your prompted to do so, make sure you sign in.
