HP could be pilot for new "Jobs' Business Nightmare" show on FOX
After reading the news Precentral.net broke about Palm once again being split into separate software (likely to wither) and hardware (likely to die) units, it made me wish we could get a new show on FOX this fall called "Jobs' Business Nightmare". Just like the Gordon Ramsay cooking show, Steve Jobs could tackle another bumbling, downward spiraling tech company each week, shake them up, reorganize their product matrixes, and turn them back towards the path to success. Just like he did with Apple. HP could be the pilot.

Unfortunately, most of the Kitchen Nightmares restaurants close up shop or change management not long after Ramsay has "fixed" them.

C'mon... I hope you guys are joking thinking Steve Jobs "expertise" is something that could be duplicated at any enterprise. I think the magic of his success was that Apple was strictly his passion and that's why it worked for him. Nothing more... nothing less.

HP really should be the pilot, since they bought Palm, and Palm made the Pilot... get it?
Spinoff show: "Hell's Boardroom." CEOs of failed and failing companies will compete against each other in formulating new business models. The models will be tested in adjacent storefronts, with actual consumer products for sale, in the Mall Of America. The winner, with the most sales, gets to keep their store. The rest of the stores will be removed, and the losers will pay the winner's costs.
