iBooks updated with nighttime reading and full-screen

iBooks have been updated with some nice new features including a nighttime reading theme, full-screen layout, and new fonts. Apple has also replaced those ugly, boring covers to public domain books with beautiful, classic covers.
- Nighttime reading theme makes reading books in the dark easier on the eyes.
- Full-screen layout lets you focus on the words without distraction.
- iBooks now features an improved selection of fonts, including Athelas, Charter, Iowan, and Seravek.
- Beautiful new classic covers for public domain books.
- Support for pop-up footnotes, included in select iBookstore titles.
- A redesigned annotation palette makes it easier to choose a color for your highlighted text.
iBooks is available on the iPhone for free.

Not updating for me either - iP4S
Just does not work! Updated on iPad and iPhone but no new features.

The update is wonderful! I'm in heaven! Everything I said I didn't like about iBooks when I made it my Pick of the Week has been fixed! Great job, Apple!

I was able to update on my iPad 2, but not on my iPhone 4S.
Update: connect to Wi-Fi and update. The app is 20.7 MB. The App Store doesn't seem to earn you with updates like it did. My iPad is Wi-Fi only which is why it worked.
Why would Apple remove fonts? I loved using Baskerville and now it's gone! This article should have warned us that we were losing three fonts by updating.
I did updated in Wi-Fi. It did update but no new features. Anyone alse with the same problem? Any solution?
How do I go into "fullscreen mode" as describe in "Full-screen layout lets you focus on the words without distraction"?
Thanks for REMOVING fonts. Now how do I get em back...
Finally it's starting to catch up to Stanza, although not there yet. Much better to go with Stanza or Kobo.
Can you dump the icon into a folder yet?
A very small improvement, still not really usable on the iPhone. The "fullscreen" (just tap once in the middle of the screen) simply hides some of the junk and does nothing to the astronomically excessive margins. You still only get about 1 sentence per page and a very slow, overly animated, page turn which greatly detracts from reading.
Is there any benefit of using iBooks instead of the Kindle or Nook apps?
Yes. Click the link I posted earlier.
