The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be making their debut in India on October 16, with both models priced higher than last year's offerings. According to leaked pricing information from retailers, the 16GB iPhone 6s will be available for ₹62,000 ($940).
That's ₹8,500 ($130) more than the launch price of the iPhone 6 last year. Here's how much this year's models will cost in India:
- 16GB - ₹62,000 ($940)
- 64GB - ₹72,000 ($1,093)
- 128GB - ₹82,000 ($1,244)
iPhone 6s Plus
- 16GB - ₹72,000 ($1,093)
- 64GB - ₹82,000 ($1,244)
- 128GB - ₹92,000 ($1,396)
Given that this is the MRP (Maximum Retail Price), it is possible the selling price of the handsets will be slightly lower. With the launch just over a week away, we'll be on the lookout for official pricing details from Apple.
Indian readers, what do you think of the pricing of the new iPhones?
