Infinity Blade III gets more iPhone 5s optimizations, bug fixes

Chair Entertainment has released an update to its new hack-and-slash action game Infinity Blade III, bringing it to version 1.0.4. The new release is available as an update from the App Store.

Infinity Blade III is the conclusion of the three-game series that's an iOS exclusive. You must defeat more and more difficult enemies as you uncover new mysteries. You join forces wtih the God-King Raidriar as you attempt to destroy the Worker of Secrets and his army of Deathless titans.

Changes specific to iPhone 5s in this release include support for full screen anti-aliasing, full screen vignettes, distortion, high resolution shads and environmental reflections.

Also new in this release are some bug fixes to correct crashing experienced by iPhone 5s users. Others may notice improved server optimizations and bug fixes, too.

Chair advises you to close all apps and restart your iOS device after installing the update to get optimal performance.

Good to see that Chair is really milking the updated hardware. While I still have a plain iPhone 5, I know I can still expect a good looking game.

One thing that interests me the most is if the next iPad will have the muscle (or even more horsepower under the hood) to really get the best experience from this game.

It's time I should consider retiring my 64GB iPad 2 and the upcoming models would make a stellar upgrade.
