Instagram may be testing multiple account support in its iPhone app

Update: TechCrunch says Instagram has confirmed that it is testing multiple account support on the iPhone.

Original Story: Instagram seems to have started testing support for multiple accounts within its iPhone app. A small number of users are reporting that the feature has made an appearance in the app. Users able to access multiple account support can do so in the app's settings menu by scrolling down towards the bottom and tapping a new "Add Account" button.

From MacRumors:

Once a second or third account is added, switching between them can be done with just a couple of taps. With multiple accounts logged in, notifications for Likes and Comments will also have a header to let you know which account is receiving the alert.

The ability to easily switch between accounts has long been on the wish lists of many Instagram users. While a number of other services allow you to quickly switch accounts, most Instagram users currently need to log out and log into their other account in order to use it with the app.

Have you seen multiple account support pop up in the Instagram app? Let us know below in the comments.
