Everything you need to know about Apple's upcoming 3rd generation iPad HD, including rumored Retina display, quad-core chipsets, 4G LTE connectivity, and Siri digital assistant
Apple's third generation iPad, which some claim will be called iPad HD, is is set to me announced on March 7, 2012 at 10am PT. Details are nothing but a rumor right now but conventional wisdom maintains it have a 2048x1536 double density Retina display, a faster Apple A6 chipset -- though whether or not it's quad-core is up for grabs. Likewise, 4G LTE radios may or may not make it in, depending on battery life and whether Apple feels enough people have LTE in enough places to warrant it yet. A camera upgrade would also be nice, as would Siri, Apple's artificially intelligent, voice controlled assistant. Thinner, lighter, more storage, and pricing and availability are all uncertain right now, but bookmark this page and we'll let you know the moment we do.
