The iPhone blog is now... TiPb.com!

That's right, just as Apple keeps expanding their iPhone platform, we're expanding our coverage to bring you the best of all of it. Let's face it -- Apple is the most integrated consumer electronics company in the world, from chipset to handset to OS to tablet. There's just no way around it -- from now on every year it's going to be a splash of iPad in spring, all about iPhone in summer, and then iPod touch in fall. And we want to make sure if a great new feature or a hot new story breaks for any one of them, at any time, you know we'll have it for you right here at TiPb, your #1 iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch blog.

Super excited about the name change. Rene - nice job on the redesign. Subtle changes everywhere, but better everywhere too!

Nevermind, I see that you've owned the domain for a while. I really like the updates. Keep up the good work.

I think you just need to change the slogan to go along with the site update... "For those who dare to phone different" really is not that accurate anymore, since the iPhone is the best selling phone in the country and using it really means you are more like everyone else than you are different. :P
And also, the site is geared towards not only the iPhone, but also the iPod touch and the iPad...

At last, no more people complaining about ipad coverage on this site. If you ask me, the iPhone ipad and iPod touch have all been the same topic anyway...

Hmm... The comments link for articles on the home page no longer appears after the article content. I now have to scroll up to the article title in order to leave comments. Since I (and probably other users) normally leave comments for articles after reading them, I think this change will slightly discourage the leaving of comments - since you have to work just that little bit harder to do so.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments!
@BootsMcGavin - We did change the slogan. Look up top.
@Dev - Awesome, can't wait for Unicode domains to make that legit :)
@OmariJames- That's secretly what I was most worried about during the iPad keynote :p
@David - the comment link has always been on top of the post on TiPb. Change creates illusion :)
@icebike - put it in a separate post :)

@stldirty... lol yes... they are definitely starting over after getting to 9.... then 0, then 1 again.... weird
i failed to mention earlier that it does indeed look nice!

You sure were lucky Apple didn't pick that iSlate thing. ;D
Keep up the good work, I especially love the irony you put in the news. Go TiPb!

... and the numbers on the comments on any post are all "mod 10"! Did this just happen or have I not noticed this for a long time? (FWIW, Snow Leopard 10.6.2, Safari 4.0.4)

I'm not precisely sure why congratulations are in order... but I would point out that most other SPE sites are /OS/ and /Platform/ specific. I would have positioned this more as iPhone OS and not toward specific devices. Heck you'll be changing your branding as Apple introduces each new device. hmm...

Great update - love that the focus you've had won't wear off once the hype's worn off with Apple newbies.
@ BootsMcGavin
New slogan's not so catchy is it (sorry Rene) got me thinking about Apple's - how about iP different?
