The New York Times is reporting that the iPhone started its life out as a "Safari Pad". An Internet tablet if you will. Once Steve Jobs saw it, he used his panache and morphed it into an iPhone. The author also goes on to say that when he spoke to Steve Jobs at the recent MacWorld in January, he asked if there would be a larger form-factor iPod touch device. Steve Jobs replied,

This is Youn Simi.This is the most wonderfull and modify technology that i have ever seen.This has been always my wish to get an ipod ,a white,taller, thinner, faster, lighter,and brighter iPod touch.

The newest of the new iPod's is fantastic, yet I can't help but to still rock my 4GB iPod nano 2nd generation. So what if the battery is going. Who cares if the click wheel buttons stick. And technically, I can "touch" it.
