Mac owners were the first to get Office 2016 from Microsoft, even before its release on Windows, in 2015. Now Microsoft is giving those same Mac Office users a chance to try out upcoming updates for Office 2016 before they are released to all users of the productivity suite.
Mac users can sign up for Office Insider if they have a paid Office 365 subscription. They will then be able to receive the early updates, and also provide feedback to Microsoft so they can fix any issues before the updates are released to all Office 365 users. The program is already available for Office users on Android, Windows desktop and Window 10 Mobile.
Be aware that if you decide to sign up for Office Insider, you will be receiving updates for Office 365 that will likely have more than the usual number of bugs and issues compared to official releases.
