While there won't be new iPhones or iPads at WWDC 2013 -- those are coming in the fall -- there will be new Macs. Peter's been covering everything from the new Haswell chipsets we can look forward to, to the new Mac Pros every geek is hoping beyond hope for. But what are we most looking forward to? Which non-mobile slab of glass and aluminium do we most want to bring home with us this June?

Dropbox has dropped a new experimental build for the Mac that adds new move to Dropbox menu options, importing from iPhoto and screenshot upload. The new build is available to download via the official Dropbox forums for Mac users to try out ahead of a general release in the future.

Intel rolled out its fourth generation of Intel Core processors this week (the chips formerly known as Haswell), and vendors have wasted no time getting word out about their plans - Sony, for example, has already introduced new ultrabooks with the new chips inside, though they're not expected to ship quite yet. We won't know for sure what Apple has up its sleeve until next Monday, when Tim Cook takes the stage, but MacBook Airs seem certain for a Haswell refresh, according to Mark Gurman at 9to5Mac.

Apple has released OS X 10.8.4, with stability, compatibility, and security fixes. Noteably, this update claims to fix an issue with Messages that cause iMessage to display texts out of order, along with Safari 6.0.5.

What does everyone here at iMore want to see in OS X 10.9? Apple does still make a desktop operating system, after all, and let's face it, even trucks need new engineering and body work. Since this is the final week before WWDC 2013 it's the last chance for us, staff and friends alike, to make with the feature requests. So...

Channel inventory of the Mac Pro entry-level model seems to be on the wane at major American retailers, according to a report from J. Glenn Künzler at MacTrast. What does it mean? Maybe something, maybe nothing.

In previous editorials I've shared my opinion on the state of the Mac Pro and what the next Mac Pro could have inside. Now it's time to ask a more fundamental question: Do we need the Mac Pro at all? After all, isn't the iMac the...well...pro desktop Mac?

Apple is currently pushing out a small, but not insignificant, RAW compatibility update for OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion that adds support for a whole host of new digital cameras in Aperture 3 and iPhoto. The update is necessary for both programs to make use of RAW image files from the newly supported digital cameras.

Education customers looking for a new Mac could do worse than picking up a 13-inch non-Retina MacBook Pro following a set of price cuts. $100 has been chopped from the price of both spec 13-inch Pro's, with the cheapest now costing $999.
