Microsoft continues to release apps that are made exclusively, at least at first, for the iPhone, and the latest example is an app called Forum that quietly made its way to the App Store. It's the latest social-themed app developed by the company's Garage division.

Forum has apparently been designed primarily for businesses to give their employees a chance to speak their minds and connect with their fellow workers and executives. The app's description states:

Forum lets ideas thrive, facilitates open dialogue within organizations, and enables employees to freely express themselves. Leaders get a way to engage with employees in a comfortable, non-hierarchical setting through capabilities like facilitating Q&As and open forums on specific topics.

Forum's features include employees being able to vote on their favorite posts, a way to flag problem posts and more.
