New and updated apps: Dark Sky, Globo, Lords of Waterdeep, and more!

Every day dozens and dozens of new and updated apps and games hit the iOS and Mac App Stores. It's impossible to keep up with them all, but it's not impossible to pick out the very best. Here they are! Today we've got a forecast app, a clock, a role-playing game, and more.

New and updated iOS apps

  • Dark Sky: The hyper-local weather forecast app makes some changes to units for the U.K., disables auto-correct for location searches, and fixes a number of bugs. #3.99 - Download Now
  • Globo: The multi-time zone clock has added time zones to the search section, the ability to quickly change the date, new settings for coordinate system and event creation. $0.99 - Download Now
  • Lords of Waterdeep: The classic Dungeons & Dragons setting gets a new expansion, expands the player count from five to six, and gets a price cut. $4.99 - Download Now
  • Starbucks: The official Starbucks app fixes a couple of bugs, one that caused a crash when opening the app, and another that crashed when users tried to reload their Starbucks card with PayPal. Free - Download Now
  • Plants vs. Zombies 2: Now travel to the far future! 24 new levels, 8 new plants, 10 new zombies, power tiles, and the Zen Garden returns. Free - Download Now

New and updated Mac apps

  • Command-C: Version 1.1.1 brings better Mountain Lion compatibility and fixes a possible crash when sharing clipboards, as well as other bugs. - Download Now
