New Apple TV gets torn down

The new Apple TV has been given a proper tear down by the folks at iFixit. It's not often we get to admire the inside of our electronics, but the new Apple TV packs quite a number of components in a small design. Not only did the team break down what's in the new box, but also the remote, as it packs some new technology this time around as well.

The part that takes up the most space in the new Apple TV is its heat sink, which also has a power supply board tucked inside of it. As for the remote, a ribbon cable connects the top half to the bottom, and other than that there are just a few chips and a ZIF connected Lightning port cable.
