A new version of Clear, the minimalist, gesture-based list app for iOS has been released by Realmac Software, bringing support for the iPad and iOS 7. Now universal, Clear offers the same list-making experience on the iPad as it does on the iPhone, with a few extra features as well.
Clear on the iPad has List Peek, which allows you to look at the tasks on other lists while working in another. All of your lists can be viewed on the left side of the screen. To use List Peek, pull down on the list you want to view with two fingers, and the task will appear. You can also tap and hold to drag task as you can on the iPhone, but on the iPad, you can also move these tasks to a new folder.
The iPhone version has had its typography adjusted to feel at home on iOS 7. The name of the list you are working in is now visible at the top of the screen on a small title bar.
Both the iPhone and the iPad benefit from some of the new features as well, such as new themes and iOS 7-style dynamics. Parallax has also been added to certain parts of the app to give it a sense of depth. iOS 7's dynamic text is also present. Clear also syncs using iCloud. Clear for iOS 7 is a completely new, universal app, and can be download from the App Store for $2.99.
