New Vine update for iPhone adds way to import existing videos and more

Vine for iPhone has been updated, now allowing users to import their existing videos to the app. As part of the editing interface, you can choose from your existing videos, though you will have to edit them down to six seconds, and slow-motion videos are supported. You will be able to string together multiple videos as long as you edit them down.

Editing is now an easier task. Now, tapping the scissors on the preview screen will take you to editing. There are some new tools to edit your clips including duplicate and mute buttons. You can also preview your Vine right from the capture screen. There is also a new layer of camera tools, such as a grid, a new level, and an updated focus lock that now works with the FaceTime camera on the front of the iPhone.

The update will be rolling out shortly, and you can download Vine right now from the App Store. What do you think of Vine's new tools? Tell us in the comments below.
