Olloclip's 4-in-1 iPad camera lens system up for preorder

Olloclip for the iPad

The popular 4-in-1 slip on Olloclip lens is now available for iPad. We first saw the Ollclip for iPad at CES 2014, and the lens attachment is available for pre-order from Olloclip's website for $69.99.

The Olloclip lens system brings four new lenses to the iPad. There's a 180° fisheye lens, a more standard wide-angle lens that doubles the camera's field of view, an both a 10x and 15x macro lens. The lens holder slips over the corner of the iPad, with the lenses mounted on either side to make switching between them even easier.

The macro lenses are particularly impressive, being built into the holder (just unscrew the fisheye or wide-angle lenses) and having minimum focusing distances of up to 12mm.

We're a big fan of the Olloclip for iPhone, and we're sure it will be just as impressive on iPad. If you're interested, you can pre-order it at the source link below. iPad photography might be awkward, but might a massive improvement to the camera's optical capabilities like Olloclip make it less so?

Olloclip's 4-in-1 iPad camera lens system up for preorder

I actually prefer the universal lens to oliclip only because with these iPhones and iPads constantly changing size and shapes how the oloclip is only good for that time period. The universal with the ring that is glued on fits no matter what but that's just my opinion as to why I like it better.

couldn't agree more, I found a great deal of olloclip for my old iphone 4. But, maybe sometime in this year I'm gonna upgrade my phone so I didn't take it and I bought universal lens instead, it's not glued to your phone but it's using a clip, wouldn't hurt your phone because it isn't that tight, not a bad choice

The iPad takes crap pics in my opinion so this for me would be a no go. I wish ollo and life proof would team up to have lenses w my waterproof case.
