Apple has released the fifth public beta version of OS X El Capitan. Members of the Apple Beta Software Program can download the Public Beta 5 from the Updates tab in the Mac App Store.

To participate in the beta, you'll need to sign up on Apple's Beta Software Program website. Remember that as a beta, this release may not be entirely finished, and things may break, so install at your own risk. The consumer release of El Capitan is expected this fall with enhancements for both Spotlight and Safari, along with several under-the-hood improvements.
