Pinterest introduces Guided Search for iPhone and iPad

Pinterest, the popular social network for sharing carefully curated collections of everything that interests you, has just updated their iPhone and iPad app to version 3.6 and added a new marquee feature — Guided Search. You can check it out in the videos above and below, but the basic idea is to help you not only find stuff you like but chance upon stuff you didn't know you'd like. Here's how the Pinterest Blog describes it:

The guides are there to get you where you want to go, but the best part is leaving a little room for serendipity. Exploring getaway ideas might lead you to a treehouse adventure, a motorcycle trip down the coast, or maybe even something else you didn't know you were looking for. You might be surprised where you end up!

It's English-only to start, but the rest of the world should be able to get in on the action soon. If you're an avid pinner, give Guided Search a try and let me know how you find all the new stuff it helps you find!
