Pinterest for iPhone and iPad updated, see what else pinners have pinned

Pinterest for iPhone and iPad has been updated with few new convenient features. There is now a "people who pinned this also pinned" feature that makes it easy to discover new pins that you may like since they were pinned by people who share your tastes.

It is now also possible to edit your Pinterest profile with the app and the iPad version has a new look that lets you get a close up of your pins.

Unfortunately, the frequent crashing of Pinterest doesn't seem to have changed. At least not for me.

Pinterest users, what do you think of the update? Do you experience frequent crashes? What other features would you like to see?

My wife love Pinterest, she uses it all the time. She complains that the app loads everything really slow and usually just ends up using Safari instead. Maybe this update will fix that slow loading for her. She has never complained about crashing.

My Pinterest app usually takes forever over 3G/4G, but works like a charm over WiFi. It does crash occasionally though. Here's hoping they get on it with the next update.

I will have to give it another try, it was very slow for me.

I have a Pinterest account but haven't used it in months. I know it's another valid social platform, but I'm busy enough w/ Twitter, FB

I never really got into Pinterest; however, I'm now going to try it due to it becoming more and more social. I believe the ability to see "people who pinned this also pinned" is essential in creating a social network.

My wife is obsessed with Pinterest. The app is flaky and seems to crash a whole lot.
