Quora releases official iPhone app

Quora, the popular Q&A social network, has just released their official iPhone app in the App Store. Quora for iPhone adds a new iOS-only feature called "Nearby" that lets you browse questions based on location using Google Maps.

One of the great features is Push Notifications, because you don't have to constantly check to see who's been answering your questions on the service. In addition, Quora for iPhone has a neat shuffle option that helps you discover new content you may not have found otherwise.

Like Wikipedia, Quora provides great answers on a wide range of topics -- technology, movies, music, travel, health, law and much more. Quora on the iPhone gives you access to some of the smartest people in the world, right at your fingertips. Quora's users have deep expertise and include authoritative leaders in dozens of fields.

Ask and answer questions on the fly, and search for questions in over 60,000 topics, including thousands of location-based topics

  • Ask questions to get insights from experts
  • Write answers to share your knowledge with others
  • Keep up with the latest on topics you care about
  • Browse topics near you to learn while you're on the go

Quora is available for the iPhone for free.
