Real Racing 3 gets 2 hot new cars and real-time multiplayer

Real Racing 3 just got a pretty impressive bump to version 2.0, bringing with it 2 hot new cars to drive and a brand new, real-time multiplayer mode. Until now, the game has employed Time Shifted Multiplayer for its races, pitting you against real folks' times but not actually racing them in real time. This remains alongside the new mode, which uses Game Center to power the show.

The new cars featured in this update are the McLaren P1 and Lamborghini Veneno, and both look amazing. There's also a free holiday livery for folks that own the Ford Focus RS, and a brand new game mode known as Vertex, which promises a "deep Career Series featuring epic Cup races."

Pick it all up at the App Store at the link below. Start your engines!

Multiplayer is such a big deal. This is a really cool update. Do you I've details on the multiplayer? Is it online only or are there Bluetooth networking options?

I'm so glad to see real time multi-player. That's a great feature and definitely make the app worth it. Thanks for the update on this app.
