Real Racing 3 gets hot new Chevrolet cars, vicious new Hunter mode!

That awesome looking Chevrolet update for Real Racing 3 we first previewed at GDC 2013 is now live and drifting its way across the App Store. The update, version 1.1.0 features the Chevrolet Cobalt SS and the Camaro ZL. The all-new Hunter mode gives you one lap -- and only one lap -- to chase down and pass another car, letting you put your friends into even higher levels of stress. Cloud save means your progress is saved not only on one device, but across all your devices, and with over 100 new events, you'll have a lot more stuff to save.

The Hunter mode gives you one lap -- and only one lap -- to overtake another car.

Real Racing 3 remains free-to-play, and from talking to their community manager, they seem determined to listen to everyone's feedback and make the best damn free-to-play racer on the market. So, if you haven't already, grab the update, slam the pedal to the floor, and get racing. Then let me -- and Firemonkeys -- know what you think.

iCloud is essential. Not sure why they released it without the service to begin with... I use both my iphone and ipad to play games. I hate spending a few hours on one device if I then have to repeat the same gameplay on another.

Still no "real" AirPlay-support :(

Is it me? Or the app size actually goes down from 2 GB to 1.1 GB?

AleXobeat Master says:

Me too! I don't know why but that's cool.

Would love to see AirPlay, but no iCloud? That's a big deal for me.

This is great to see and some great additions. Thanks for the heads up on the update.

I don't know about y'all but I updated on iPhone 5 but seems a little buggy (the race events, the race clocks, etc)

I was playing this title non stop on my 4 S then got a 5 this week and ever since I have been having real issues with RR3. It won't download since the update and before the update I played and it didn't save all my progress to the cloud. As far as AirPlay support it worked fine with my 4S you have to double click home button scroll to the left and click the Airplay button it will then mirror to your TV.
