Sam Sung was a specialist at the Apple Store at Pacific Center in Vancouver, British Columbia. Given his name, which mirrors that of the massive Korean conglomerate, strained partner, and billion-dollar ad-spending competitor, Samsung, he's gotten some media attention in the past. Now, however, Sam Sung has moved on to Holloway Schultz, a recruiting firm, but has decided to do something extra special with his last remaining Apple business card — auction them off with all proceeds going to the Children's Wish Foundation. From the eBay listing:
I had a great time working for Apple and would recommend it to anyone. I hope my old business card will go to another fellow Apple enthusiast with a sense of humour and the desire to help raise some money for a good cause. Although the auction is for my business card alone, I have framed it alongside my old uniform [as seen in the picture] and I will arrange to courier it [frame, t-shirt and lanyard INCLUDED] to you. Good luck.
The Foundation, needless to say, is enthused by the gesture.
Bidding is currently up over US$5000, with just over 8 days to go. As exits go, that's pretty great, right?
