Siri down for you?

Siri down?

We're getting a bunch of emails and tweets asking if Siri is down for anyone else, so we're guessing the answer to that is -- yes, yes it is. It's still working for some of us, mind you, and Siri has been up and down intermittently, and a often, since launch, but this once again seems to be more widespread than normal.

So you know the drill -- let us know if Siri is down for you, and if so, where you are, how long it's been down for, and when it goes back up.

Siri down for you?

Wasn't connecting to the network, restarted my phone and now it's working flawlessly. It seems like Siri needs a fresh connection every now and again...

Works fine for me. I just asked it "how far away is the moon" and it came back with the usual Wolfram Alpha result as usual.

I'm down in Salt Lake UT since about 1pm MST.
Man, I forgot how long it takes to type this onmy iPhone.
Never knew how much Siri was so helpful until u can't use it.

Siri is down about 40% of the time. It is a real problem when you try to call out and the response is"network is unavailable". SIri is the main reason for buying this phone

It's midnight now and it's been down for me since around 7pm. And I'm I'm NC about 175 miles from the Apple Datacenter. Ugh...

San Diego was down a few times today. Other times it was dreadfully slow. I've only had my new 4S for a few days so when I ask Siri to do something for me in front of people and she responds negatively or apologizes, I just shut her off. At one point, some one made a snide comment and I called her a bitch. She responded, "Now, now". That shut him up pretty quick.

In SLC, Ut Siri has been out for 2 days. It's worked for a very short time last night but not working all day today. This is lame.

Yeah in SLC 2 and still out off and on. Little surprised it's taking this long to resolve for as big of a company they are.

Why can't the phone process the speech to text? Why does it need go to a server? I use dragon medical on my old dell and it works fine. I guess this way saves battery life. The old voice command is more useful in situations like this.

I am in south western Pennsylvania, and I havent had Siri for almost 15 hours. I understand the term beta, but I really miss her.

Not working at all in Tempe az had spotty to no success since Thursday the 3rd. It's now Saturday and still can't connect.

Siri is down for me in Minnesota. Been down 2 days now...I understand it's Beta but Siri was the entire reason I decided to upgrade instead of wait for the 5...
