Found it. I've been using the iPhone app on my iPad 2 and the disconnect button is the first thing my 15 month old goes for when talking to grandma. Hopefully few hang ups now.

Yeah I couldn't find it either, the link above takes you there. Weird it says released August 2 while it's still August 1. This app is amazing. It's exactly what you'd expect from an app thats been waiting 2 years to come out of its shell. I actually like this interface better than the Mac or pc version. it's so simple and fast. So far call quality and notifications are working perfectly. You had me worried Skype, thanks for finally making an iPad app. I never thought I'd get to delete the iPhone only version ;)

It won't let me download it, it's there but won't allow me to download. Just went back and can no longer find it, I think it's been removed.

Annnnnd now it's gone: @Skype: To ensure your best Skype experience, we've temporarily removed Skype for iPad which went live prematurely today.

It's not available on the US App Store. The App store says that I cannot be found when clicking the link from the post

Nice interface. Only i can't get video calling to work with my girlfriend on a android phone with skype. This might be due to the disclaimer when first starting the app: something in the lines of, this app is only supported on a unmodified ios.
Everything else works peachy but no video playback. This might or might not be because of the jailbreak on my device.

Great news for travelers, now I can go on a trip using my facebook, twitter, rent an iPad (www.padinthecity.com) for not paying roaming and use skype to call, plus photos, email, a perfect pack of tourists not to save money.
