A new set of CAD diagrams have surfaced, purporting to show off the designs for both the iPhone 7 and 5.5-inch iPhone 7 "Pro". The drawings are supposedly sourced from Apple subcontractor Catcher Technologies, and appear to show an iPhone 7 without a Smart Connector, while the 7 Plus model appears to have such a connector.
A recent report claimed that the iPhone 7 would not ship with a Smart Connector. Neither phone in these images appears to sport a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Meanwhile, KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is predicting that Apple will release a single iPhone 7 Plus model, according to MacRumors. The 5.5-inch phone, which was at one time rumored to be coming in multiple versions, is said to have 3GB of RAM in order to meet image processing requirements.
Assuming these drawings are accurate, though they may very well not be, they also back up previous reports about the rumored dual-camera system being exclusive to the iPhone 7 Plus.
