The latest update sees mostly bug fixes surrounding boot up times of jailbroken devices; you should see a significant improvement with version 1.5. The update also offers a refreshed Cydia package list.

evasi0n now updated with full jailbreak support for iOS 6.1.2

Earlier today, Apple released iOS 6.1.2 where shortly after, planetbeing confirmed evasi0n works on iOS 6.1.2 but we would need to wait for it to be updated. The evad3rs have officially updated evasi0n for Mac, Windows, and Linux to officially support the iOS 6.1.2 firmware.

evasi0n jailbreak confirmed to still be working on iOS 6.1.2

Apple has just released iOS 6.1.2 to address some small issues. That doesn't mean that an update can't render a jailbreak useless. Fortunately planetbeing is reporting that evasi0n appears to still be working under iOS 6.1.2. Obviously, you'll still need to hold off on updating until evasi0n is updated to recognize iOS 6.1.2 as a supported firmware.

The evad3rs team have wasted no time at all in updating their hugely popular evasi0n jailbreak tool to support the just released iOS 6.1.1 firmware. The new evasi0n release, which is now up to version 1.3, fully supports iOS 6.0, 6.1 and 6.1.1. iOS 6.1.1 was released yesterday solely for iPhone 4S devices after widespread reports of poor 3G connectivity and Exchange account problems after the iOS 6.1 update.

evasi0n has just been updated to version 1.1 to address issues affecting some users concerning long reboot times and problems that were causing the Weather app to crash. Apple updates its jailbreak Knowledge Base article after the release of Evasi0n

Apple has issued an update to its previous Knowledge Base warning regarding problems that jailbreaking your device can bring. The update was obviously needed after the high profile release of the Evasi0n untethered iOS 6 jailbreak earlier this week. The Knowledge Base article warns about device instability, security vulnerabilities, shortened battery life and unreliable voice and data.
