Post editing is something us regular Google+ users take for granted, but finally Facebook is getting on board with it too. Rolling out initially on the web and in the Android application, Facebook users can now begin to edit their posts once they've shared them, offering the chance to erase those – potentially embarrassing – mistakes. Support for iOS is on the way soon according to TechCrunch:
Facebook for iOS has received a major update today, bringing the promised redesign to both the iPhone and the iPad, along with a major feature from Facebook Home, Chat Heads. The redesigned news feed emulates the new look of Facebook on the web, with content becoming more prominent and sporting an overall cleaner look.
Facebook has just updated their app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch to version 5.1 which brings with it updates to make chat easier to access, a way to add favorites to the top of your chat panel, multi-photo upload, and more. Unfortunately, many users are reporting multiple issues with the new update as well.
