Taco Bell has released a new app that enables iPhone users to place an order for tacos from afar, and then come to the store to pick them up. The app is now focused on the menu and ordering, allowing users to select and customize their menu items (even including a drink selection where applicable), find restaurants, and add them to their order. You can even remotely pay with a saved credit card, debit card, or Taco Bell gift card.
Forkly is a beautiful social food discovery app that will help you find a delicious meal the next time you're out and about. It features a few different feeds so that you can browse your options by what's nearby, what your friends recommend, or something more specific.
The Great Coffee App launched a while back with great design, gorgeous music, but limited content. Now that they've presumably knocked back a dozen or more twenty-shots, developers Baglan Dosmagambetov and Alexander Nogay are back for a second cup, and it's filled to the brim with video.
It's Fitness Month here at iMore and Mobile Nations and part of getting in shape involves eating better which is why this week we're focusing on nutrition. "Dine-O-Matic for iPhone is a gorgeously rendered, single purpose app designed to do one thing, and do it very well -- randomly pick where you should go out to eat when can't make up your own mind."
Launch Dine-O-Matic, and you're asked to tell it your favorite restaurants (or let the handy GPS feature help you quickly locate them). When you're done, or anytime thereafter, tap the plate to get your pick and watch Dine-o-Matic spin up it's FTL (food type locator) and jumps you right to a random selection. Then you can call to make a reservation, get directions, or just grab your wallet and head out to eat. That's it. That's all. You're good to go.
