What's on Georgia's iPhone right now!

If everyone else is sharing what's on their iPhones then you know I want to get in on the fun! The iPhone is the single most important, most critical piece of tech I own. It's what keeps me on time, keeps me connected, and keeps me having fun! Since my Home screen is pretty much default — I'm lazy! — I'm including some of my favorite apps from my second screen as well. And yes, I still don't update applications very often. I don't like change. I don't like learning new interfaces and I don't like that I can't go back to a older version of an app if anything goes wrong. And, hey, this is my iPhone!

Philips Ambilight TVs and Hue getting cosy for 2014

During the Philips presentation at the IFA Global Press Conference in Belek, Turkey, the focus was on its Android powered TV sets. But also getting a mention was Hue, Philips' popular smart lighting system, and some pretty nifty integration with its Ambilight TVs. With one special mention for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Brazil this summer.

Philips hue announces fancy new 3D-printed Wi-Fi-connected lamps

Philips announced a batch of new Wi-Fi connected lighting products today, including this handsome number made through 3D printing. There are both hanging and table 3D luminaries with Philips' signature color LED bulb inside, which, like usual, you can control and program with your iPad or iPhone.

Siri can control Philips Hue smart lighting with a little bit of help from SiriProxy

What could be more exciting than controlling your in-home lighting from your iPad? Yep, you guessed it, controlling you in-home lighting with your voice through the use of Siri. That is now a possibility thanks to developer Brandon Evans who has worked out a way to control the recently launched smart lighting system from Philips.

Philips Hue offers iPhone controlled LED lighting for your home

World renowned electronics manufacturer Philips has announced today that it will be exclusively launching its “Hue” web-enabled lighting system through the Apple Store starting from tomorrow. The new system from Philips offers energy saving LED lights that can replace your existing bulbs and they can then be controlled from your iPhone or iPad.
