Trying to rearrange one of your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad home screens and curious how to move multiple apps around at once? Well, if you're Jailbroken, you can! Multiiconmove allows you to move multiple icons so you can get your home screen exactly how you want it, as fast as possible. We'll show you how after the break

Multiiconmover cuts your time down by letting you move multiple icons at one time. It's available from Cydia for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

Launch Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone

Search for Multiiconmover

Install the app.

Once Multiiconmover is downloaded, there will be no app icon on your springboard, it automatically goes into action.

First, hold down an icon like you were going to move them.

Once the icons start jiggling, tap the icons you would like to move

Drag one of the icons you would like to move to the spot that you want.
Note, you must have enough room on the page for all the icons you have selected to move.

Once your icon is where you want it, tap the home button and you will see all the icons you've selected move to the location you wanted.

Did you like this app? Did it help you cut your time down when moving icons around on your springboard? Let us know in the comments.

iOS 4.2 for iPhone brings with it a new Voice Memo icon and with it the most drastic redesign of a built-in iOS app icon to date.

Yes, Calculator got a facelift recently, but it retained that pseudo-realistic look and feel Apple used for the other "utility" apps, like Compass and Camera. Voice Memo goes from faux microphone to strictly white icon, similar now to Phone or iPod, but without the diagonal pin stripe. If it was in the dock it might fit, but grouped in the default Utility folder, it kind of sticks out.

Sure, icons are icons and only designer geeks spend time arguing over their relative merits, but just in case you're on of those aforementioned aficionados, I'm curious to know your thoughts.

I asked on Twitter on Friday, now I'm asking here. New Voice Memo icon, pro or con?

A user on MacTalk Forums (via MacRumors) may have just stumbled upon Apple's icon for the next generation iPhone, buried inside the iPhone 3.0 SDK. And the big surprise?

It looks pretty much the same as the icon for the iPhone 3G.

iPhone 2,1 is Apple's internal number for the next gen iPhone, expected to be announced at WWDC. The original iPhone 2G is iPhone 1,1, while the iPhone 3G is iPhone 1,2. The numbers show that even Apple doesn't consider there to be much more than a point difference between the first two iPhone generations (as opposed to the iPod touch, which went to 2,1 last fall).

The use of iPhone 2,1 led many to believe the next gen iPhone would have more differences than the addition of 3G and GPS last time around. And while it still might, including processor bumps, digital compass, a better camera, etc. if this icon is accurate it looks like few if anything will change on the outside.

One of these things is just like the other; one of these things is exactly the same...

Wow, we just got through listing the various ways Micrsoft is iCloning our beloved iPhone and its services, and now this? Bad enough they've taken the old hex grid from our AD&D days, but the iPhone Phone App, all green and rounded and gradient like?

We've got to think this is some customized icon, like a contact photo or something, because there's no way Microsoft includes it in even an official beta build, is there? Still, having Apple's graphics highlighting the latest viral Windows Mobile 6.5 leaks can't be good for anybody. Ugh.

Speaking of ugh, bonus points to anyone who can tell us what that background picture is before it hatches baby aliens and begins consuming us all...
