Spotify for iPhone gets the Discover tab, What's New being confined to history

Spotify has pushed out an update to their iOS app with a bunch of new features — mainly for the iPhone — with the addition of the new Discover tab top of the list. The now playing view is also getting some polish, and there's a shiny new icon to boot as well.

Latest update to Mailbox adds a portrait mode for iPad

A quick heads up for Mailbox users that the latest update that has been pushed out to the App Store brings portrait support for the iPad. Strangely, when Mailbox finally gained iPad support, it was only useable in landscape view, but that has now been rectified.

AT&T launches cloud-based storage service, offers 5GB of free space

These days, cloud storage options are pretty plentiful. Dropbox, Box and even Google Drive all offer up pretty reasonable amounts of storage for free but now AT&T is tossing their hat into the mix with the freshly announced AT&T Locker service.

Google releases Currents, a user-friendly news reader

Google has just released Currents, their post-Flipboard take on the news reader, which brings your favorite RSS feeds, video streams, public Google + posts together with over 150 publishing partners. Reading content in Google Currents is just as easy, if not easier than viewing it all over the web, and it is free.

Unfortunately it is only available in the US, so not everyone can take part in it just yet.
