Ally's most used accessories of 2011 for iPhone and iPad

I have a very short attention span when it comes to accessories for my iPhone and iPad, and my most used accessories reflect that. To really keep my attention an accessory has to stand out from what I already own. If it looks like something I already have or doesn't provide any additional features, I probably won't give it a second look. Here are the ones I've found to be functional and versatile enough to keep around.

Hands-on with the Octa WhaleTale & Vacuum Dock

Octa WhaleTail and Vacuum Dock is a tablet holder that suctions to the back and contours the hand very nicely. To get the back to stick on the iPad all you have to do is put it on there, give it a few pumps and it's on there, and rather firmly. Releasing the holder is pretty simple (once you get the hang of it) -- pull up slightly on the two tabs and then push them in, and off it comes. Also included is the WhaleTail which hooks onto the back of the Vacuum Dock which allows the tablet to be propped up and it also doubles as a security measure for when you are carrying your tablet around so it doesn't just fall right out of your hands.

Check out our live hands on from CES 2012.
