CES 2013 is about to kick off and we are being inundated with new accessories. One of those that really stand out is the Griffin PowerDock 5 which is a counter top charge that can charge up to five devices at the same time from one power outlet. If you live in a home like me, this particular accessory could come in really handy; we currently have three iPads and three iPhones that constantly need charging.

Marvel Comics Unlimited tests iPad friendly beta

Marvel Comics Unlimited is a Netflix-like service that lets you subscribe to and consume huge quantities of catalog titles. Christmas Day customer activity showing Apple is crushing it, Android strong, Microsoft toast.

Christmas Day is a huge day for mobile device activations, obviously. Once we finish unwrapping our gifts and scarfing down a big breakfast, we all become children and want to immediately play with our gifts. Once we install these apps (like Twitter), we start telling followers about our new device. Two pieces of research hit my radar today. They’re both quite fascinating and paint a picture of Apple dominating the scene.
