Following up on the information iMore received yesterday on potential ZFS hooks in iOS 5.1, a reliable source let us know that Apple has been investing heavily in ZFS appliances from Oracle. (Whether or not this will be made public is unknown; it doesn’t seem to be right now.)
Some fresh pictures of a camera-equipped iPod nano have slipped out, indicating that Apple’s music player may be due for an update soon. Aside from the camera, the overall design doesn’t seem to have changed much from the previous generation.
BGR was given screenshots from sources who claim to have access to the iPad 3, indicating it will come packed with a quad-core A6 chip and support LTE speeds.
Seth Weintraub from 9to5Mac has a source within Foxconn that claims Apple is readying the iPhone 5 — as it’s apparently being called — for production in time for a summer release. The leak also claims:
