A number of Apple shareholders are suing CEO Tim Cook, along with a number of other executives, over their role in ebook price fixing. The group says that the scandal damaged the company. The group is seeking for Cook and other to pay damages to shareholders.
Apple’s annual shareholder’s meeting was held this morning at the company’s Cupertino headquarters. These meeting are to allow shareholders to ask questions of Apple’s leadership, as well as hold elections for the board of directors.
In a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, Apple has revealed that its next annual shareholder’s meeting will take place at their Cupertino headquarters on February 27, 2013, some minor shareholder proposals which, as always, will almost certainly get voted down, and the huge surprise that Apple blew past the financial targets needed for execs to trigger bonuses.
