Uguard.me smart resin skins for iPhone and iPad review

Uguard.me are resin-based skins for your iPhone and iPad that provide some protection from scratches and scrapes, but an incredible amount of grip to keep your device from falling or sliding in the first place. Dome skin for iPhone review

I love Domeskins. They're like skins but are thicker, giving them an almost 3D look and feel. I have been using them for a week and, at first, I put them on because of the beautiful look and matching wallpaper. Almost immediately after that, I came to appreciate Domeskins for the wonderful feel and extra grip they provide for my iPhone. With Domeskins, when I place my iphone on a surface, it will stay in place and I don't have to worry as much about it sliding to its doom, or being nudged into oblivion. It just stays.

Winterboard now compatible for iOS 5 [jailbreak]

If you are currently jailbroken on iOS 5 you can now return to skinning and theming your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your heart's content -- Saurik's most recent update to Winterboard (0.9.3901) adds iOS 5 compatibility.

Although Winterboard is now compatible with iOS 5 it still isn't safe to assume that all themes and skins are. As always, make sure you're reading the descriptions carefully. In most cases themes just don't apply properly if they haven't been made compatible but it's still good to check.

Anyone found any awesome themes that work with iOS 5 they want to recommend? Let us know!

BodyGuardz Armor Carbon Fiber for iPhone 4 - accessory review

The BodyGuardz Armor Carbon Fiber for iPhone 4 is a skin that sticks to the glass black and stainless steel antenna to change up the look and protect from scrapes and abrasions. They're not the same as the thin, clear BodyGuardz films we've shown you how to apply before, and are actually even easier to apply. (Check out the video below to see just how easy.)

Now that I've been using them for 10 days, how are they holding up? Did they stay on or did I go running back to my favorite case? Read on to find out!

MusicSkins had the Beatles first, then Apple copied them, so now they've gone from one generation of music to a new generation of media with their new line of MTV-based skins -- South Park, Jackass, Sponge Bob, Dora, to Jersey Shore. And if none of those do it for you, you can create your own.

Check out the video above and let us know which new skin is your favorite!
