How to use your Photo Stream as the screen saver on your Apple TV

If you own an iPhone and an Apple TV, you can use your Photo Stream photos as your screen saver. They're likely far more personal and meaningful to you than the natural photography Apple includes as default. Best of all, as you take new photos, they'll automatically update and you'll always have new and fresh photos for people to see!

WARNING: If you set up Photo Stream as tour screen saver on Apple TV, make sure you don't include any pictures you or those seeing them might find inappropriate or embarrassing.

Apple Events channel added to Apple TV, will live stream iPad mini keynote

Apple has silently added a new "Apple Events" app to the standard Apple TV home page and is set to stream today's media event live. So far it appears that this will only be available to Apple TV users but we may find out more later.

Apple posts the new iPad event stream video

Apple has wasted very little time posting the video stream from today’s new iPad event as it is now live on Apple’s events page. You can now see for yourself how Apple introduced the upgraded Apple TV as well as the next generation iPad wtih a stunning 2048 x 1536 Retina display.

Super Bowl to be streamed online for the first time, available on iPhone, iPad

The NFL has announced that this year will be the first year that the Super Bowl and the Pro Bowl will be streamed live across the internet. What's more, iPhone and iPad users will be able to view the games on their devices too.

The NFL stream will be available to view on its own site and the NBC channel. If you want to view it on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, you will need to pick up the Verizon NFL Mobile app. The app is free in the App Store but unfortunately it will only work for Verizon Wireless customers.

Howard Stern's new Sirius XM radio deal allows for streaming to iPhone

Today it was announced that Howard Stern has inked a new deal with Sirius XM satellite radio that will keep him on air through 2015. This is great news for all of the iPhone toting Stern fans out there as this new deal allows for his show to be on for another five years but it also allows the show to be streamed over your iOS device via the Sirius application, something that was not allowed previously due to Stern's old contract.

Apple iTunes Music Streaming Service Unlikely to Launch Prior to 3rd Quarter of This Year

CNET is reporting that Apple is planning to unveil their iTunes music streaming service at least by the third quarter of this year. After Apple acquired Lala back in December, it was rumored that the company was entertaining the idea of a streaming music service that would allow users to back-up and access their music library from any device with internet connectivity.
