Grand Theft Auto III coming to iPhone 4S and iPad 2

Rockstar Games has announced that it is bringing the hugely popular console game Grand Theft Auto III to the iPhone 4S and iPad 2. The game which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month will be demoed for the first time at New York Comic Con which runs from 13-16 October.

Not guilty plea from those accused over iPhone 4 prototype lost in bar case

The two men accused of theft of an iPhone 4 prototype last year have pleaded not guilty to the charges. The iPhone 4 in question was left in a bar by Apple employee Robert Gray Powell in Redwood City, California. The two men, Brian Hogan (pictured above) and Robert Sage Wallover will face charges of midemeanors rather than felonies.

Steve Jobs comments on the lost/stolen iPhone HD/iPhone 4G prototype that turned up online. Jobs thinks it's an amazing story - theft, buying stolen property, extortion... he thinks there may be sex in there somewhere!

Jobs got a lot of advice saying he should let it slide, shouldn't go after a journalist because they (allegedly!) bought stolen property and tried to extort Apple. Jobs would rather quit. He considers it a matter of their core values.

Stolen Belgium iPhones Show Up in Russian Black Market

Where did the Russian Black Market, get 4000 stolen iPhones? If you guessed from that from that Belgium warehouse, where do you think they will end up? you would be 100% correct.

Russia currently does not sell the iPhone and the importing of unlocked phones is a hot commodity. Cult of Mac is reporting that the stolen goods are being sold for cash on the Russian Black Market in lots of 100 at below average prices to cell phone vendors.

Close to 4,000 iPhones Stolen from Belgium Warehouse

Over the weekend in Belgium thieves made a clean getaway with close to 4,000 iPhones. The market value of that many iPhones, 2 million euros, or $3 million U.S.

The iPhone thieves cut a hole in the ceiling of a warehouse where the devices were being stored waiting to be delivered to Mobistar in time for holiday shopping season. According to Mobistar, local police have zero leads but think twice about landing one of these phones as a spokesperson from Mobistar is promising they will not work.
