The forum community here at TiPb keeps growing in numbers every day! With more and more great threads getting posted it's been hard to try and keep up. Today on the forums, we have a few more good ones that you should definitely check out!

First thread up was started by Dizzy, Google Sync (Beta). For more information about Google Sync for iPhone be sure to check out Dieter's post from the other day. I'm sure a lot of Gmail users are happy campers at this point.

Next thread comes to us from a new forum member, fallingsenses, he seems to think a lot of people have the iPhone 2G rather then the 3G. What do you usually see? More 3G's than 2G's or vice versa? Be sure to chime in!

This thread is pretty straight forward, Will you renew MobileMe? I know without hesitation I will be giving more money to Apple when the time comes. How about you?

It's been some time since the 2.2 firmware dropped, yet we have not heard of any developers getting their hands on the next version. So Dizzy wants to know, when is iPhone 2.3 firmware coming? That is a very good question, so check out that thread and let him know what you think...

Next up is a thread regarding the sharing of a single SIM card between your iPhone and another phone on the AT&T network. I've done it previously with no issues, now it seems like AT&T is tightening the screws just a bit. Have you tried sharing your iPhone SIM with another phone? Let us know how it's worked out for you.

Forum member, EnterpriseGlobe, has started a fun thread - where did you get your iPhone? I stood in line for 2 hours or so on July 11th at my local Apple store. To kill time I emailed pictures and updates to Dieter while he was in line at the Providence, RI Mall. Oh the memories.

I know what you are thinking, this is an iPhone site, so why feature a thread about the upcoming Palm Pre? We all love competition, it just makes products better. Or at least that is the idea. To cut to the chase, what are your feelings regarding the recently announced Palm Pre? Is this real competition for the iPhone or is it simply one last ditch effort by Palm to try to stay afloat?

The forums continue to grow and today we have a few interesting threads that you should not miss.

Sturamsden started a thread that asks the question I'm sure a lot of people who do not currently own an iPhone may be asking: should I wait until the next generation iPhone comes out before I make my purchase? To see what type of advice he is getting please head on over to his thread, how close is the next gen iPhone?

Next we have forum member Dizzy, he seemed to be having some battery life issues after the 2.2 firmware update. I know I had some similar issues after the 2.1 update, is anyone else having similar battery drain problems with the 2.2 firmware?

The next thread will help a lot of you out there looking to add ring tones to your iPhones. It was started a while back by cjvitek: Want to make your own ringtones but you don't want to have to pay for them? Well if the answer is yes, then please check out that thread. All the information you need is contained in the link.

Finally we have a whole sub forum dedicated to jailbreaking and we'd like to point it out to all of you interested. It seems jailbreaking has gone to the next level with the 2.2 firmware and I urge anyone interested to check this sub forum out now! It can easily be found right here in Jailbreak Central. Our iPhone Forums have been busy as of late, so lets get things going...

Jailbreaking has been a very popular topic lately here on TiPb. So, it's fitting that everyone interested in that topic check out the thread and click on the link. There are a few pieces of software out there today that allow you to Jailbreak. Personally and for most of the TiPb Team QuickPwn is the popular choice, and we tend to avoid "others" out there. This must-read link for iPhone jailbreakers will tell you why.

Forum member HymerSchmid, started an interesting thread a while ago wondering about a attachable keyboard for the iPhone? Or an iPhone with a physical keyboard? I don't see it happening, but look at RIM and their new Blackberry Storm. (Thought they were all about the physical keyboards...)

Next up we have a fresh thread just started the other day. All iPhone owners are always craving a new updated firmware fix, so... when do you think the next firmware, 2.2, will actually be released? Next month? December - just in time for the holidays? In the new year? Will be interesting to see just how this all pans out won't it? Make your voice heard and get in on the vote!

Most everyone who has a iPhone has it protected in some way, shape or form... Rene wants to know, "To Case or Not to Case?". What's your style?

I really like having the auto correction feature on the iPhone. If it tries changing a word you just tap the "x" on that word and it goes away. Tap it 3 times and it will never predict that word again. Simple right? Well someone has started an online petition for Apple to disable auto-correction. Yes, you heard right... check it out.
