Facebook rumored to be launching a ‘Find My Friends’ type app next month

Facebook is rumored to be releasing an app that will help you keep an eye on where your Facebook friends are at any given time. The app which is being compared to Apple’s “Find My Friends” is said to be able to run in the background and can automatically update with a user’s location so friends can easily find them.

Google in hot water after allegedly bypassing Apple’s Safari browser privacy settings

Google is facing an inquest after it was discovered that it had been bypassing Apple’s Safari privacy settings on its Mac and iOS platforms. Google, Vibrant Media Inc., WPP PLC's Media Innovation Group LLC and Gannett Co.'s PointRoll Inother advertising companies have been tracking the web browsing habits of Safari and Safari Mobile users even though Safari has built in security protection to prevent that from happening.

South Park pokes fun at Apple's location tracking controversy [Thursday fun video]

South Park started out season 15 with an episode that makes fun of Apple on multiple levels including the recent negative press they've received around the location tracking bug.

The Episode is called "HUMANCENTiPAD" and is about Kyle being tracked down by Apple to be used in a hilariously disgusting new product that Kyle unknowingly agreed to volunteer for by not reading the terms and conditions of the latest iTunes update that he accepted.
