Keeping pace with iOS 9, Apple has released a new beta of OS X El Capitan to developers. This is the third beta version of the software.

Developers can grab this updated version from Apple's Mac Developer Resource site, or through the Mac App Store on a machine running the previous build.

OS X 10.11 is expected to be released publicly in the fall, with a number of improvements to the Mac experience. It will feature an enhanced Spotlight search, better window management, Safari improvements like pinned tabs, and performance improvements like bringing Apple's Metal graphics framework to the Mac.
