TiPb asks: What would you like to see more of on TiPb.com in 2011?

TiPb TV 10: So you just got a new iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad?

What would you like to see more of (or less of) on TiPb.com in 2011? iOS news/rumors? Jailbreak coverage? Editorials/opinion pieces? iPhone/iPad vs. competing device reviews? App/game/accessory reviews? App/game/accessory comparisons? Tips/how-tos/guides? iPhone Live!/iPad Live!?, TiPb TV? Anything we're not covering that you really want us to start?

We are here for you, so let us know what would make your TiPb experience better. You can even let us know what you would like to see less of, either way we want to know!

I love apple says:

More of Georgia. Needs to wear outfits like the girls on g4tv. This will get more viewers. Like the gamernextdoor from playboy. Hoorah

Chris_c81 says:

Answer is simple... more Georgia! :D
(Awesome top you're wearing by the way, even as a Marvel fan, I can appreciate that Batman top lol!)

Batting1000 says:
  1. More Georgia :D
  2. More Jailbreak coverage.
  3. More TipB TV
cardfan says:

More editorial/opinions. Comparisons too. It's a blog first.

JNGold says:

I will buck the "popular" trend and say less Georgia and more of some of the other TiPb writers like Alli, Leanna, Chris, etc.
I would also like to see TiPb TV include more (other) hosts and become a video round table of discussion.
As for the site, I would like to see more software category comparo's like Twitter, Facebook, Office Productivity suites, etc. Kind of like Road and Track or Motor Trend when they compare similar cars (pros/cons, etc). Perhaps TiPb TV might be a good "vehicle" for this type of software review.
As another suggestion, I have seen some blogs give readers the ability to only show certain topics (i.e. a filter). I am not sure if that is technically possible using the site tools or effort involved in implementing it. But it would be nice to be able to filter out some of the beginner tips or items that some people may not find of interest.

lovejun says:
  1. iPhone/iPad vs. competing device reviews
  2. more kids apps
    always thanks for useful infos...
FLskydiver says:

Less Verizon rumors. Like, how about none? Announced it when it is announced, please.

sangs says:

Georgia in a Spiderman top please. He's so much cooler than Batman...

Chip Chipperson says:
  1. Less rumours about a mythical Verizon iPhone
  2. Less rumors about the iPad 2
  3. More app reviews
  4. An iphone/ipad gaming writer. I'm available...
DoubleDown says:

The safari buttons that are missing from the bottom of my screen everytime I go to Tipb.com.

Jason says:

More international coverage. I live in Japan and there really isn't a good site like this to cover all things apple.
Hell I can help out if needed.
Other then that I think more how-to videos would be nice.

Geo Coldz says:

Giveaways, giveaways and more giveaways! :)

Chocolatesauceman says:

Just when you think you have a fresh idea, you're practically tenth to say you want more of Georgia, but gentlemen, who can blame us really? With a spokesperson like Georgia, we couldnt leave tipb if we tried. We keep coming back for more. Let's be honest we watch tipb tv for Georgia, never for the conversation.

Jimbo says:

A contrarian. Not looking for anti- Apple pieces, but it would be refreshing to read articles, as opposed to random commenters, that took Apple to task when needed. Currently, there is a deferential, apologetic tone when mentioning the slightest problem in iOS world, usually accompanied by a gratuitous shot at Android to remind us we have it better. We KNOW we do; it would be nice to see, instead of those constant reminders, a little less uniformity of opinion.

petaf says:

Video/audio working seemlessly come podcast time. :-)

John says:

I'd like to see more of fun app reviews like this one: http://bit.ly/esoL3A (iFamous Lite)

Roger says:

More rehearsals.
More skin.

excaliburca says:

Less opinion pieces that make Apple look like the be-all-end-all, more critical analysis of Apple... and definitely more Georgia :D

Tony says:

More Georgia (forget the cartoon character tops, go for a Blackburn Rovers top!)
Fewer verizon rumours. They were boring 3 years ago!
More location awareness - your readers are worldwide so if you run a story that only applies to the USA say so, don't let me read 3/4 of it before it becomes obvious. There are more carriers than AT&T too.

Nagasaki69 says:

Maybe you guys can post more votes to see how other people do or thing of things. Coming from a BB and crackberry.com I liked the voting/polls they had, such as how do you use ur iPhone most; gaming, web browsing, tweeting or Facebook!! There always interesting to see how the rest of the community stands in a quick poll!!!

killakow says:

there needs to be a way to comment on individual posts rather than having to use @somebody. Kind of like crackberry.com & engadget has it. That way you're not scrolling down a huge list of comments. This helps to keep the comments more alive

Georgia says:

Hi Killer, just wanted to let you know we have just implemented it... as you can now see.
Thanks for the suggestion.

killakow says:

looks beautiful. thanks for implementing this!

skydiver says:

App reviews would be a nice feature.
Blogging is a form of journalism. Bloggers, TV news, radio hosts, newspapers all want there story first, my point is, I don't think we need bi-daily updates on a Verizon iPhone rumor. It's been old news for 3 years, break the story that iPhone is going to Verizon when it happens, even be the first the announce it. Maybe send in Georgia (everyone else is talking about her, I may as well too) to Apple as a spy with a fake mustache to sucker some info out of Jobs about Verizon.
Otherwise, not to much, good job with the site.

robnaj says:

More TiPb TV, also be creative like call other writers/editors/reviewers via skype for more opines. And include a video podcast in iTunes.
Also on another note the iPod Touch is an iOS device too so do not forget to mention it, espishally when talking about how to jailbreak many things are different.

chuck732 says:

How about less faces and more product. This site is suppose to be about Apple products not the people that write it.

zwei says:

Less jailbreaking "News" …great for the forums, not for the front page. Much rather see more app/accessory reviews.

jasondeno says:

I'd like to see something along the lines of 'a day in the life of..'. You guys do great reviews for apps and accessories, but I'd like to get more of a feel as to how it all comes together for different folks. For example:
'Yo. I'm Jason. I own a small IT company. I roll out of bed to my iPhone alarm, slap my phone into my stereo and listen to iTunes as I use my ipad to review email, fb and tech support tickets (Zendesk app). After I shower with my tunes rockin in my bathroom i-DS3, I head out to work. My phone is docked in a griffin and handsfree hits me via Blueant.
I spend a lot of my day reading in iAnnotate, using quickbooks online in safari and live in my business version of gmail synced to my phone's default apps. I shoot random stuff with Hipstamatic as the mood strikes.
After work I run with RunKeeper or lift with a spreadsheet in QuickOffice. Then I snuggle in with netflix on my ipad at night until I pass out and start the whole process over again.
I freely admit I'm a geek. I'm working on mounting my iphone to my CBR while in the off season. I want heads up GPS while I ride and A2DP in my helmet. ;)'

nyc_rock says:

I would like to see more reporting on behalf of the users. For instance, getting a quote from Weatherbug why they haven't updated their app in months all the while they have updated their android version like 10 times.

Jfelipe83 says:

Well I think more apps review more videos, reviews with developers to get scoop in future apps.
Oh and I really thing you should have an app like engadgets and cnet. And yes please more Georgia. She's so hot

ITOne says:

Anthony says:

I think you need not to ask such a question. Everybody is an armchair sports hero and the case can be said about blogging. A whole lot of these guys giving "advice" are just boneheads(like me). You listen to all of us and you end up with the car homer made in the simpsons. You can't please everyone. But sincerely, advice for NOT doing something because it's annoying or whatever to a few people...whatever, that's just dumb.Kkeep doing what you're doing...when you can add features that's awesome and I'm grateful.

A.J says:

I would like more app reviews and more iOS4 tips

weehooherod says:

More Georgia and more jailbreak coverage.

Marco says:

I really like all the videos you guys been postingnon the website, but I would like to be able to subscribe to these videos as podcasts through ITunes, just like iPad and iPhone live! Video podcasts of these videos would be great.

Ilovegeorgia says:

I would really love to see more georgia. But i think she should just dress how she normally does. Those other people are just dumb lol. I also say you guys should do more giveaways. Some cool app reviews.

FLskydiver says:

I should really, really, really like a notification system the lets me know if someone has added comments to a thread I replied to (and especially if they replied to my comment, when that becomes a feature).
And also please note no one has yet asked for MORE Verizon rumors.

Amedeo says:

1) Editorials/opinions
2) Tips/How-tos
3) Practical uses: Like how Rene/Georgia/etc. use their devices everyday. What apps, in what way, settings, things they really like, things they find missing. You know, a practical day-to-day snapshot of the use of iDevices

Trevor says:

@FLskydiver - couldn't agree with you more, +1 for this.
The Verizon iPhone rumors get old and so do that "more Georgia" comments.
@Amedeo - wow, my exact thought. +1 on this!!. Practical uses so that I can better learn to use my iDevice. I often feel I'm not utilizing it nearly as much as I could be.

Matt says:

1) More Georgia!
2) More App Reviews

bookworm1990 says:

@Robert Najafabadi - I second your suggestions

ImWithJuicy says:

@JNGold/ITOne. Hi there superstar. Here you go showing what kind of nimroded douchebag you are posting the exact same comments (once again anti Georgia) from different aliases. Your own stupidity has once again outed you and your stalkerish crusade against her. Seriously get a life.
Oh and nice to be able to match the face to your -----------. ----.

JNGold says:

@ImWithJuicy,
You need to calm down. It's not good for your blood pressure.

ihighlander says:

More new releases... Releases of apps.. Whats new in the iphone venue... Over time our devices get boring with features. If we keep adding on them and adding on them we keep interested. Specially jailbroken apps. It's a huge part of our ecosystem.

Trevor says:

I'd like to be able to view more articles per page. For example, this was posted on Jan 3, it's the morning of Jan 4 and it's already on the second page. Just a thought, idk if it would be more expensive server-side.

Jeff Higgins says:

More Georgia.* She's such a fox (and is also a good reviewer/commentator).
*Preferably in superhero tee shirts.

Georgia says:

Thanks for all your comments! We have already implemented the embedded replies to comments.
@killer so you will now know is someone is replying to someone else.
Let me try it now
