Track this Interorbital Cube Satellite from your iPhone and stream John Frusciante’s new album

Enclosure Album John Frusciante has a new album, titled Enclosure, which will be available April 8 worldwide. But if you have an iPhone, iPad or Android device, you can get a sneak peak via an ingenious app and a satellite.

Frusciante has loaded a recording of Enclosure into a self-launched satellite, and with the new app you’ll be able to preview the tunes when the satellite is over your location.

You’re not actually streaming from the satellite, of course, but it’s a novel way to use location data.

You can grab the iOS app at the App Store link here.
